Comments on the course

It's flipped, so watch the lecture on your own and attend class to hear the same stuff explained. go to class to get extra credit but otherwise, it's not necessary unless group assignments are involved

Course Content

fine, interesting if you want to go into TV but it is completely useless otherwise. There are short lectures to watch per week ~10 mins, by week 6 you're doing a test every week, timed, very harshly graded with little explanation on your mistakes.

Comments on the professor

tries to be relevant but comes off as snarky and self-righteous, makes you feel like you can't ask questions but is obsessed with feedback.

Advice

don't buy the textbook waste of money

Comments on the course

very detail-oriented. Dont know what grade you're gonna get ever.

Course Content

It's useful for journalists because you get practice working on deadline and being graded on details, but otherwise isnt, unless youre going for broadcast.

Comments on the professor

tough grader and tough lecturer, but makes life interesting.
