It was interesting, class was mostly focused on building writing and overall skills as a history major or minor
Assignment every week, pretty straightforward, and there's a final essay, but he is available to talk and help you research.
The professor helps a lot during office hours, and if you show you're trying, he's nice with grading. He is really good at detecting plagiarism, so I wouldn't recommend attempting it.
Talk more because there's a participation grade

Prof: Noll / Fall 2021
Dec 17, 2021
The course is not especially difficult with Dr. Noll, the assignments are clearly explained and straightforward and they attempt to teach you relevant skills for continuing on historical studies. I did feel as though I benefited from it.
the course is half instruction on how to be a proper historian (researching, writing, editing, etc.) and half actual historical content depending on the topic you take your practicum on.
Dr. Noll is a super fun lecturer and he made this class fun for me to attend despite me not being super interested in the subject matter. The class is very flexible and he's very understanding if you speak to him. The assignments are straightforward and well explained. Be prepared for a bit of class participation and some fun rewards for good answers.
Just stay on top of your work, it's not all that difficult if you break it.
