Difficult design course built to get you ready for difficult design jobs.
Course Content
You learn the backbone of mechanical design, one of my favorite clases so far. Gear systems, screws/fasteners, weldments, buckling, mechanical failure modes.
Comments on the professor
Homeworks take a long time and are worth a lot. Every lecture has a 15 minute webgem to check that you paid attention but the exams are basically the webgems copy/pasted.
