There's one homework a week usually, pretty straightforward. Attendance is taken every class and your grade will suffer if you don't show up often. Lectures can be hard to follow but the exams are okay compared to other courses.

He's not very helpful.

You should be really comfortable with MATLAB logic and MATLAB plotting. If you have difficulties the prof probably won't even help you. I've heard he tells students that ask for help to 'drop the class'.

A lot of MATLAB coding, difficult to learn in class.

He explained concepts well, but did not explain how to code these concepts.

Have a very good MATLAB background

Make sure to be comfortable using MATLAB. Interesting class which combines aspects of calc with programming.

Informative lectures, provides solutions to the HW's. Can be hard to follow at times.
