This course was very simple but ultimately felt like a waste of time. Hui Zou is extremely passionate and educated in the course but does very poorly at capturing the class’ attention. The thursday seminars with the TA were what I looked foward to and taught the application of the content into the studio much better.

The professor is extremely passionate and kind. No problems whatsoever and the grading is relatively lenient. However, you will have to read or listen extremely attentively to understand the content because Zou tends to ramble often without making a strong point. overall fantastic professor who simply hasn’t found ways to make his class more engaging.
