The course is very open ended as you spend an entire quarter working on a single narrative film. Be prepared to put in work and gather a crew to shoot your film, you will get as much out of the film as you put in to it.

The course content involved watching many student films along with other films, and engaging with how to light and stage a production.

Gustavo is a very engaging and fun professor to go to class with, he is strict and will be blunt in his responses to your ideas and films, but I appreciated his trust in us (as students) to create excellent work.

Get ready to work, don't show up late to class, watch a lot of movies.
