Because the summer class is an accelerated version, it is very reading heavy. The textbook isn't horrible, but it is very dense so expect to have a good amount of notes if you want to do well on the exams.

Expect to be reading 3-4 chapters a week and doing the quizzes that go along with them. There are occasional discussion posts, but as long as you submit your answer and respond to at least one other peer you will be fine. There are no essays or projects, and the professor does drop the lowest exam grade at the end. Tests are about 50 questions per test (there are 4 total), and the final is 120.

Professor LaPage has been very accommodating and will even change a grade for the class if there is confusion or a mistake on the quizzes.

As long as you are prepared to read, you will be fine.
