Tax is always hard, but Rosenthal does his best to make it bearable. The first exam is way easier than the other 2, so make sure you do as well as possible on it to give you some grade cushion later on. There were also a lot of extra credit opportunities when I took this class, so make sure you take advantage of those. I was hoping that this class wouldn't have some of the trickier topics from 4001 (cap gains, MACRS, nontax exchanges, etc.), but it does, so be aware of that if you decide to take it.
