Prof: Ricardo Zaurin / Fall 2021

Mar 21, 2022

Comments on the course

The professor teaches the class very well in my opinion and will definitely prepare you for future classes. Beware that he does pop assignments in class.

Comments on the professor

Humorous but can seem quite intimidating. But he really does want to pass you and would see what he can reasonably do to make it happen.

Advice

This course is relatively easy ONLY if you stay on top of your coursework. Once you fall behind, it will be very difficult to catch up.

Prof: Dennis Filler / Summer 2021

Jul 29, 2021

Comments on the course

Filler's class was organized horribly and taught too slow. He's knowledgeable in the subject, but he's not good at teaching it. For assignments and exams, we had to type our answer into a word document, save as a pdf, and email to him(through outlook) instead of taking it through canvas. It's not like he acknowledges your email, so you won't know if he actually received your assignment

Advice

Study hard and attend office hours

Prof: Ricardo Zaurin / Summer 2019

Feb 18, 2021

Comments on the course

Very difficult course, but by the end, you’ll be well prepared to tackle future engineering courses. Zaurin’s very sarcastic, and for many students, he’s a bit harsh.

Advice

Don’t blow off homework or studying, put in the work! Don’t let his sarcasm get to you, just lay low and keep a thick skin about you.
