AVOID THIS PROFESSOR AT ALL COST!!! I know people say McAlpin is bad, but Lazar will not even teach you. The “lectures” are prerecorded videos from several years ago. Grades take forever to come out (I’m talking, you won’t know if you should withdraw until RIGHT before the deadline). A very poorly run class, a poor professor, poor everything. Made me never want to go into security.

Take this class with a different professor.

This class interesting but professor lazar made it so boring. We found multiple errors on the practice exam and professor never bothered to update it. His Video is prerecorded and so old. He literally just read off the PowerPoint. We had one book report, 3 assignments, one NIST report. 3 exams.
