Comments on the course

Textbook use was recommended but not necessarily required. The professor would upload videos reviewing each chapter, but be aware that the videos don't cover all the information in the chapter. So I'd recommend reading at least some of the textbook. I took the course through UCF online. The quizzes weren't proctored and the exams were mostly questions from previous quizzes.

Advice

Read the textbook and use previous quizzes to study for the exams

Comments on the course

Can’t remember if there was a textbook or not since Webcourses decides to lock you out of GEP classes after they’re over. Anyway, Callaghan obviously has a passion for the subject but I do not at all and was only taking it because it was a required course. I left the “interesting” stars at 3/5 because my own interest in the course was 1/5 but the professor’s was 5/5, so that’s the average.

Advice

Just pay attention in class and take notes on the Powerpoint slides and you’ll do fine.
