Comments on the course

Took it with Kinley as opposed to the larger normal class. From what I have heard on people who transfered between these two sections, with Kinley it is harder to get an A (stricter grading), but the class is much more interesting and you learn more. I mostly took this class on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. From my own personal background I already new several things we learned, yet I did not spend a class where I did not at least see the topics through perspectives I had not considered. It helps put debates of science into context, understand what goes on in science, and even how to respectfully doubt scientific papers. Very useful for just about anyone in any major, broad philosophy of science as a whole and considers mild aspects of epistemology.
