Prof: Donald Yessick / Fall 2022

The course is called Introduction to Coding in C but you really need to put in the effort the last few weeks because the projects get really hard really fast.
It teaches about the fundamentals of C.
Donald Yessick was alright. He was reachable outside classes and very helpful with whatever problems you got. He also laid out the frameworks for projects in class so you weren;t doing it all by yourself.
If you have never coded before, it might turn into a very hard class for the last couple of weeks as the difficulty increases drastically. So be prepared. If you already have some coding experience, it might be a breeze without even attending classes.

Prof: Alex Zhang / Fall 2019
Mar 31, 2022
Wonderful class! Zhang is a wonderful professor and did a great job introducing CS and coding to many people who had never done it before. Grading is fair and projects are given at a reasonable pace for the knowledge expectations.
Introduction to C programming and general programming paradigms. If you've used C or C++ before (or, for the most part, any language), you will already know all of this -- great if you've never coded before, or only minimally.
Zhang is great! Super kind and understanding. Only issue is that some people have trouble with his accent, but he will gladly clarify if you ask.
