It’s the best but class in the anthro department at the U
The class involved learning to identify animal bones from archaeological sites and interpret the species of animals and modification to their bones. We also did a term project working on bones from a real archaeological site which was fun. The grades for the class come mostly from exams where you have to identify bones from animals and a term project that includes a big paper you have to write (mine was 10 pages).
The professor is very enthusiastic, he is very knowledgeable and is at the top of his field. He was very helpful with my term project.
This class involved a lot of work for me, I studied and worked on my project in the lab maybe 10 extra hours per week. It is not very easy but it was my favorite class I ever took.
