Even with the course being taught online, it was still interesting and I definitely enjoyed the content and the discussions held.

Topics of race, disability, class, gender, and sexuality in popular culture and how they're represented were discussed. Because of how prevalent different aspects of identity are, it was interesting seeing how they're portrayed in popular culture.

Dustin Kidd is a great professor, very knowledgeable, and was super accommodating especially with the class being online due to the pandemic. If you can take a class with him, I highly encourage you to do so!

A lot of the homework will revolve around Dolly Parton.
