It can now be used as a gen ed course and I’d highly recommend it! Interesting subjects covered and discussion is always welcome. Professor Hajdik knows the topics extremely well and is a great teacher!
I can’t remember fully, but I don’t think I used the book much.

Easy discussion based class. I used my time doing my other homework in that class, but I enjoyed listening to the topics. I already knew most of what was discussed. The quiz answers are easy to look up in the textbook and so are the exam questions since it's open note. Many people didn't even bother showing up they just said they did over zoom. Probably the best gen ed available- especially Dr. Hajdik.
Each week was a different environmental topic. We covered invasive species, eutrophication, pollution, climate change, threats to biodiversity, population growth, alternative energies, etc.
Dr. Hajdik is very easy going and his due dates are lenient as long as you do them. I could tell he enjoyed when students engaged in discussion otherwise he just read power points for the quiz information.
I wish I didn't really need to attend to get an A but I'm ok with it.

Dr. Sharp is great and the class is really fun. Like we had to do discussions each week but it was fun figuring out environmental problems
A lot of reading, but the book is pretty cool so it's not that bad
Super cool and chill
You have to take but try to take it with Dr. Sharp
