It’s a hard course but she made it better!

I love Dr.Serrano. I’m leaving a review after seeing a bad one because I don’t think she deserves it. She is a very compassionate professor and is obviously passionate about Organic Chem. Organic Chem in general is a very difficult class. No matter who you take, it’s hard to learn and is a hard subject. Dr.Serrano gives many opportunities to do well and makes herself available to her students. This class is what YOU make of it. If you still haven’t found your way to study, this class isn’t for you. You need to put in time and effort to get a good grade. She has many assignments to cushion your exam grades, so even if you get a couple bad exam grades, you can get a A or B!

You need a good foundation of OChem 1 for Ochem 2.

This is a hard class. Very overwhelming. There's a lot of material. GO TO A+ TUTORING. WORTH THE MONEY

Spectroscopy, organic chemistry reactions and mechanisms, synthesis

She basically believed that you need to live and breathe organic chemistry. Comes off a bit rude and blames her students when they don't know things. Teaches very fast and chaotic.

The only reason I know stuff is because of A+ tutoring. GO TO A+ TUTORING!
