It's an easy class but there are better teachers to take for this course.

The course itself was fairly easy, we worked A LOT on different sentence structures (Simple, Compound, Complex, Compound-Complex) like that was the majority of the semester, we also had 3 essays we had to do, and the midterm was simple (it was a take home on the computer) and he allowed you to work with others on it.

He's enthusiastic about English and composition but has trouble grading and responding to emails. Work from mid-September wasn't graded till the Thursday grades we due and I honestly had no idea where I stood in the class. I was lucky and got a 90.

Be nice to him and participate and he will be more lenient on you. I did not pay attention a lot in class but when I knew things I spoke up and he seemed to like me and offered help whenever I needed it.
