The course itself is great and interesting. Not hard if you attend classes and easy grading from most profs.

ASL201 is the continuation of asl101, I took it with Nina and she made me genuinely want to learn the language. Unfortunately, because of schedule conflict I wasn't able to have her as my prof and got James instead. I saw his reviews on ratemyprof, but still decided to give it a chance. BIG MISTAKE. I was stressing more on this class than my computer courses. He gives little to no instructions on quiz dates and times, deadlines for assignments. I can deal with professors not teaching well, but the bare minimum is to be clear on deadlines, we should not as students have to reach out to you every time for you to clarify those details. He's also the type to not admit his mistakes and apologize. Take at your own risk, it's asl201.
