Comments on the course

Overall a pretty good course, you have to do a reading response for each class that's like 1 page, not too hard and the professor posts his analysis of the reading before class, so you can use that to get a decent understanding of the main ideas before reading the text. 2 test and 2 essays to write other than that, and the study guides for the tests are very comprehensive. Participation is a big part of the class, each class is basically just a discussion over what you had to read for that class, so you're expected to contribute to the discussion. Overall really enjoyed the class, Professor Choi is awesome, very nice dude who clearly cares about his students and is very chill.

Course Content

Main topics were existance of god, human freedom, medieval ethics, medieval skepticism and some other stuff.

Comments on the professor

Professor Choi is awesome, he facilitates the class discussion very well, and just generally makes the class enjoyable. Very fair grader and leaves good feedback on pretty much everything you turn in for the class.
