Comments on the course

This was the most boring class I've ever taken. I cannot imagine how awful it would be to take it during the actual school year instead of summer. If you're required to take this class for your major, do it in the summer so you don't have to suffer through a whole semester of this.

Course Content

The class taught me to say "mmhmm" and nod my head while listening to people. The whole class was focused on active listening.

Comments on the professor

Professor was cool, though probably way too relaxed on the grading. I realized too late into the class that she didn't actually watch our video discussions, instead just looks for a decent length video then throws a 100% at you.

Advice

This class is a blowoff class in the summer. Show up to meetings, say 4 words, write the occasional essay, easy A. DO NOT take this during the school year, you will fall asleep during lectures.

Prof: Cho Rong Lee / 2020

Comments on the course

This is the easiest upper division course I took, but I wouldn’t recommend it unless you are going for the collaborative leadership certificate or you’re filling some other graduation requirement. The work load can heavily vary depending on who is teaching. The lectures were the most boring I’ve had at Purdue.

Advice

If you can take an online option and do homework or other things during the lectures, it would be a lot better.
