One of the most important courses for anyone considering a career in law enforcement of any type (corrections; police; probation, etc). Lots of scenarios where ethics and professional choices meet and really get you thinking. Better to mess up here than IRL!

For an online course he was always accessible and responsive. His grading is vey fair but essays are always a challenge versus quizzes.

Don’t let the writing assignments and presentation projects discourage you from taking Prof Schmidt’s course. You will be 10 times better off in your career for having taken his class.
