I thought I would be tested on my knowledge of how drug use has affected American culture but instead, every discussion post and weekly assignment is about a paper you write that is due at the end of the semester that can be about anything revolving around drugs. I learned nothing about "Drug Use in American Culture" like the title of the course says, but rather how to write a research paper. Although this is also useful, it is not what the course is advertised as. This frustrated me and made me not want to do the work to my fullest potential.

Useful but not anything like the title of the course.

Professor is boring, discusses only writing techniques, and assigns external sources to proved material to you rather than teaching it herself.

TAs grade very harshly on grammar. Even when using Grammarly I did not receive good scores on my papers because I wasn't using the correct tone in my writing.
