Lectures were useless (I learned more going to the mslc than I would to lecture). There was a difficulty spike from what we were doing in lecture vs what we had for hw problems. For those not pursuing the stats option just take stats 421 instead since the content is better taught and essentially the same.

The professor would speak very fast had barely legible handwriting and would jump between different topics. He also had a very think accent which is of no fault of his own given that he speaks English as a second language but certainly made his explanations harder to understand.

Write good notesheets in advance before tests. Do as many practice problems from the book this is how I passed. Read ahead of the class. Go to office hours and mslc. Take ST 421 /521 instead.
