Comments on the course

The class is engaging and you learn a lot, it’s just sometimes a little unclear what we are doing. Most of the assignments are easy or have to do with a couple assigned readings and half of classes are collaborative but not in an awkward way.

Course Content

The content focuses on different multicultural perspectives and natural resources, like latin peoples experiences in america, japanese and chinese immigration, native american history, and the like. It’s definitely a lot of content all at once and could be stretched across more classes but it’s delivered well and isn’t overwhelming at all.

Comments on the professor

The professor is nice although sometimes she seems like she’s being kind of condescending. Other than that she does have very clear communication and is always there to answer every question. She seems to like to be there with us and is very passionate about what she does which I respect.

Advice

This class was more fun than I thought it would be, but the last project is just a little confusing. She could do better explaining it but she does do a good job of teaching the class regardless so I think it’s a worthwhile class for sure.
