Genuinely one of my favorite classes so far. I’d recommend it to anyone who likes the idea of rwally exploring literature, it’s mostly poetry. However, we also get into some smaller novels and short stories too.

I’ve learned a lot about different forms of media and literature. It’s made me think a lot about the value of knowledge and reading as a whole.

Ariel Ross is an amazing professor, I’ve had several in-depth and thought provoking conversations with her. She isn’t afraid to challenge your mindset in some ways, but she’s also very understanding and open.

If you don’t like discussion, you probably won’t like this class. But as someone who loved the participation-based values of this class, you’ll get as much out of this class as you put in.
