Comments on the course

The Human Nature class was very fun. If you are like me and enjoy being able to link philosophical ideas of past civilizations to the ideas and debates going on in today's world, then I would definitely recommend taking this class.

Course Content

The course content is mostly readings from ancient philosophers from Greece and Rome, as well as some later ones from other parts of Europe. After each reading, you get a short paper to write that ties into the readings and it is pretty easy to complete. You also annotate the readings and turn them in on Canvas by scanning them.

Comments on the professor

Professor Besch was an amazing professor. She is very friendly and caring. In class, she would discuss art as a way to tie in to the topics we were learning about. She is my favorite professor from Fall Semester.
