The course makes no sense. Half of the class is focused on cybersecurity and the other half is on research methods, and it tries really hard to combine the two when they don't fit together. You will get no feedback at all during the class.
The course content is all over the place and it isn't useful. One minute you'll be studying how algorithms are racist and the next minute you'll be studying how to look up information at an online library. Then you'll be asked to combine them, but you won't find out that you're "doing it wrong" because you don't get any feedback on assignments.
The professor is terrible. It takes him about a week to respond to emails and your assignments will go ungraded for weeks at a time. The assignments build on each other, so you aren't sure if you're going down the right or wrong track before it's too late. You'll get wildly varying grades on assignments from A+ to a D or F which makes it even more confusing. He holds no Zoom office hours unlike most professors who always hold them.
Take a different class. There is another class you can take instead.
