Comments on the course

The class should be split in two, which would make the information easier to digest.

Course Content

It is more of a history class for the most part. You learn about the history of how we got to psychology as we know it today. Starts in early philosophy (boring), and includes every random person you’ve never heard of. You need to know the people, their theories, and what they contribute too. Sounds easy but it is way harder than it seems.

Comments on the professor

Great professor but the material itself is boring. The only things you’re graded on is 4 exams which he does item analysis to give back points. His slides are so in depth and the exams take information directly from it. Each exam has between 60-100 slides of information.

Advice

You’re in for a long one, make sure to review the material well in the beginning of the course and as you move on it will get easier.
