Comments on the course

The class itself covers a lot of important data structure and algorithm concepts that every CS student should know of. Unfortunately the professor was not the greatest at conveying the information or helpful with questions.

Course Content

Covering of data structure types, trees, lots of sorting algorithms, asymptotic notations and algorithm analysis, implementation of data structures such as hash tables and HITS algorithm.

Comments on the professor

Not a great professor. He worded assignments and his lectures very confusingly. Offered very little exam preparation or help leading up to them resulting in low averages across the class. He did curve in the end and offers extra credit with an extra project but it was not worth the semester of stress taking this specific professor.

Advice

Take another professor.
