Comments on the course

Lecture and work heavy. It was an interesting course, but work will pile up if you don’t pace yourself. There would be a homework assignment due every week, canvas post/reply, as well as finishing up parts of the final report.

Course Content

Mainly biomaterials stuff from 420. It was useful to some sense but because there was so much content, I forgot most of it in a month…

Comments on the professor

One of the few professors in the BME department that is useful and cares about making lectures interesting. However, he doesn’t understand that students have 4-5 other classes and will not push deadlines. Averages on exams were pretty low, but that’s because students have other exams and assignments to worry about.

Advice

If you want an ‘A’ go to office hours, quiz yourself on lecture content, don’t miss class. Also, make flashcards on every lecture, memorize, and then apply it to a real life scenario/device
