The class is rather difficult, some say it's the class where students realize they're engineering majors. If you do the work, learn the processes, go to office hours, you'll succeed.
The content was very interesting and fascinating. Main topics include moment, loading, equilibrium, rigid bodies, trusses, centroids and more.
The professor was amazing in lecture and in office hours. He is very helpful in explaining content and is patient with his students. He usually brings physical demonstrations to nail in the content more.
This is a student of memorization's enemy. On the exams, very rarely will you see a problem in which you've done before, meaning you need to understand the processes of the problems and why, not just memorize.

A very useful course for mechE and civE students alike. Lots of demos made the class useful and easier to conceptualize. You will need the textbook for a couple of problems but it is super necessary for diagrams and walk throughs on the problems
