Comments on the course

This class meets once a week on Tuesday evenings. You have three class sessions and then an exam. This class was quite difficult. You really have to study to pass. It is considerably harder than ANSC 423 (Diseases). Every week you will need to turn in typed notes of the previous class session. They are part of your grade in the end (just for submitting, not for content quality). You will learn about parasites of cows, horses, pigs, and to a lessor extent, cats and dogs. You will be required to learn the genus and species (although sometimes its the family or subfamily etc) of the parasites and some of the vectors (snails and flies etc)

Comments on the professor

I'm a huge fan of Dr. Kleinman. He is funny and interesting and cares very much about his students. He is one of those professors that is still excited about teaching.
