Comments on the course

Not bad at all. Some concepts are definitely hard but with Dr. Childs' teaching and enough studying, you should do well. There's also assignments/labs which are essentially completion and they really help you learn, you're basically getting course credit for studying

Comments on the professor

Love him. He's hilarious, and has a very dry/deadpan humour, delivery is always on point. Oh and he's a good teacher too

Prof: Aaron Childs / Fall 2020

Comments on the course

A very chill course provided you keep up with the work. Midterms and final exam were both very similar to all the practice provided and quite easy. Assignments were also a nice boost to your mark.

Comments on the professor

Dr. Childs is amazing. He explains concepts very well and is always happy to answer student questions.

Advice

Keep on top of the work, the textbook is definitely useful for the suggested problems, but probably not a necessity to be successful. Do the practice tests Childs provides when studying for the real tests and final.
