Prof: Jennifer Nash / Fall 2025

Boring course with monotonous work, early class times, useless tutorials, and practically mandatory attendance, unconventional feedback, heavily weighed group assignments in random groups, and unclear, arbitrary learning objectives. WIll you learn something? Yes. Do you learn 2 credits worth? No. The course shouldn't be worth any credits or should be an elective. Expect to wait up to 5 weeks to get anything graded and returned. Don't expect to get any individual assignment grades back after midterm. The group assignments are made to be done in groups, but if you get unlucky enough to get bad group members, it's extremely difficult and time consuming to try and improve the project as a whole. Slow markers and poor feedback.
You learn how to ask questions from different perspectives/topics. The perspectives are generic and you don't go into any substantial depth on any. Guest speakers were alright, but they could only talk about their topic on the most surface level. The assignments will be lecture notes, reflections, and group assignments.
Meh
Don't forget this class exists. Don't try to do anything other than what they ask of you.
