This course was a HUGE learning curve from the prerequisite 2GI3. The labs were a great help in further nailing down concepts even if they were pretty difficult. Quite content heavy and lectures are pretty fast-paced.

The course consists of 5 lab assignments, a midterm, and a final exam. It doesn't seem like much but the labs were incredibly time consuming. Unlike 2GI3, the designated lab time is likely not enough and you will probably be spending time outside of your lab slot trying to finish assignments. Once you start finding a routine that works for you, you'll be fine and dandy :)

Deluca seems intimidating initially, but he really isn't. He is a very good lecturer and instructor, keeping our attention even when the content is discouragingly confusing. I really liked that during lectures, he actually pulls up ArcGIS to run examples.

Always look through and annotate the lab instructions before entering the lab. Your time with the TA is very limited so be sure to ask questions when you can.

You gotta work HARD for the assignments. Understands all the concepts.

The assignments are kinda crazy at first, brace yourself :)
