This course is delivered online only, unless they are changing that this year. The lectures are in a pre recorded asynchronous form. They are a bit of a struggle to sit through sometimes, however, if you are interested in geography than it is quite easy to follow and remember. Weekly quizzes are mandatory. there was also 2 written assignments as well as a midterm and exam.
The course is content heavy and is more centered on human geography rather than physical geography. The course does touch on physiological geography. It is an easy A as long as you complete the quizzes and assignments on time
John was a really good professor in my opinion. he was clear and concise in his lectures and communicated on Avenue regularly. He answers emails within 10-15 hours of you sending a message. He is also very understanding if you need an extension.
ill be honest, i used google to search answers for the quizzes, however not all the answers are easily found on google in the short time you have for the quizzes as they are timed. Making small notes based off the main topics in the modules is highly recommended. you can complete this course easily without the textbook, however a lot of the answers for quizzes can easily be found in the text.

This course was an ideal elective! Comprised of quizzes, two ~major~ assignments (that were easy to complete - which is coming from a procrastinator) and a final take home style short answer exam. 5/5 stars, highly recommend if youre looking to boost your GPA
