Prof: Yurij Mozharivskyj / Winter 2021

Comments on the course

The course is basically just lectures and exams. The tutorials are non-mandatory practice problems, and there are 2 assignments with like 5 questions similar to the practice that are mostly free marks. Exams were short answer based off of lecture slides.

Comments on the professor

Dr. Mozharivskyj is very kind and does his best to make the lectures interesting. He goes fairly slow and makes sure to go over key concepts several times so that everyone understands them, and my only complaint would be that it is sometimes too slow. He also made easy exams :)

Advice

If you want to take a chemistry elective, I think this is the easiest one (compared to orgo, analytical, physical). You should be interested in chemistry though, because most of the concepts are new compared to first year chem.
