Prof: Katie Taher And Katie Chandler / Fall 2026
Oct 27, 2026
I took this course thinking it would be one of my easier classes, as it seemed like a fairly simple concept. I was proven wrong on the first day of class. There are required readings after every class and sometimes even required screenings. The readings can go up to 30 pages of small print. There are pop up reflections every 3 classes or so (they are surprise pop up reflections on the readings) Katie Chandler always seems to try and get the classe's opinion on things to divert from the fact that she herself does not fully understanding the material. It seems as though every time someone makes a comment, she refrains from answering or adding to it because she isnt quite sure what to say.
The content is about India, Buddhism and Indigenous views on the environment and religion. I did not think it was useful to my education.
The professors seemed sweet but the content was so poor that I can't defend them
