Prof: David Rahn / Fall 2025

(im an atmo major)
The content of this course is pretty useful as it gives context to the weather and atmosphere. The first few weeks are super fundamental stuff like albedo and small scale things, then the later half of the course covers alot of phenomena like cold fronts, storms, low and high pressure systems, etc. For the lab you will need to buy the lab guide to be able to do assignments, and before every lab there is a pre-lab that you turn in that consists of a few questions that can be answered by the intro of each lab
David Rahn is my goat he is so nice and super interested in meteorology (and he curves exams alot).
If you don't have any prior knowledge or interest in meteorology, this class can be really rough and I recommend taking a different course for your nat. science credit. But if you are interested in the weather, and have a little bit of context of how the weather works this class is easily a back burner.
