Comments on the course

Very easy course. You need a B to continue through the CCSE department. Just study. Linked lists, trees, sorting methods. It's not hard, it's what you should know to be a proficient programmer.

Comments on the professor

Dexter Howard is alright. I do not know if he still teaches here.

Advice

You need to know these concepts, please study.

Prof: Howard / Fall 2019

Comments on the course

Could be challenging if you haven't coded very much. To anyone that succeeded in P&P 1, it should be a piece of cake. Maybe one or two confusing sections.

Comments on the professor

He was about as good as a prof could be with this class - understandable and fairly knowledgeable. Didn't mind his lectures.

Advice

The internet is your friend... programming classes will always be largely self-reliant, but there are ridiculous amounts of free courses. Youtube especially.

Prof: Enda / Spring 2020

Comments on the course

I had Professor Enda for my 1322 and he was a very enjoyable teacher even with the pandemic going on. Cracks a lot of jokes, very knowledgeable on the subjects he teaches, very friendly guy one on one. Highly recommend if you ever get the chance to take him.
