This course was a very useful introduction to writing research essays on a college level, as well as getting to know the resources available from the DePaul library. Finstrom is a very laid back and friendly professor who loves to read and write essays.

The entire class is focused on building a research paper on a topic of your choice. You walk through each step of the process and do an oral presentation on your topic during the final week.

Finstrom is very laid back and friendly, easy to reach out to and very enjoyable to have as a teacher.
