I chose to take this class because the topic seemed very interesting, and I was very disappointed to find that while to topic is interesting, they way that class is taught makes it a chore to attend class (which is mandatory). They way professor Han teaches is that he presents a journal at the start of class and spends all of class basically walking through the research only to draw the conclusion that, yes this specfic gene in this specific path may have a role in aging. I feel that if this class was taught in a way that explained different mechanisms of aging, and used examples of research to support what we are being taught, this class would be an A+ in my book.
