Prof: Nancy Lapp / Fall 2021

The class is really exciting and insightful, but can get overwhelming. There's a weekly quiz on the readings, but usually I could get away with skipping the articles and just reading the textbook chapters. There's a lot of opportunities to write about things you're passionate about like civil rights or writing to your representative about an issue.
I learned a lot about what I like and don't like about politics. It helped me expand my knowledge on the things I do enjoy learning about.
Professor Lapp was amazing, she was helpful and answered all questions. She allows some flexibility with assignments if you talk to her. I would encourage you to just stop by her office hours to say hi, she's very friendly and passionate about her field.
Most of the quiz/test answers are on quizlet, but it's still worth it to try on the quizzes.

This course involves so much reading, so be sure to spend a lot of time on this class. A good thing that there is no final but you take quizzes every week which were relatively easy but the time limit is 5 minutes.
Make sure to not fall behind on the readings.
