Good class environment and really great prof. Expect tons of reading, and definitely study hard for the exams and practice essay questions.

Very interesting readings, just a ton of them. Lots of important concepts for introductory anthropology. You will have a midterm and final exams, and an interview-based research assignment if nothing changes. The discussion section can be boring.

Prof Foley is very kind and personable. Great lecture style and very open office hours.
