Comments on the course

Personally I really liked the class, my main issue was in that I'm not the best at studying. This was also a retake, and my issue when I took it in the Fall of 2019 was that it was at 8am and I'd either sleep through it or be falling asleep during. However, the content is pretty interesting if you're at all into music history, and the prof is so clearly passionate about what he's teaching which is nice to see.

Advice

Read the textbook, if you miss a class I promise it was covered in the textbook and in order. Listen to the listening examples often and try to memorize the key-terms and composers he'll list for you, and you'll basically be fully prepared for the exams
