Mediocre course, can be difficult depending on the prof, but definitely not difficult if you stay on top of your term work.
Concepts are not difficult, but a lot of content. The Verilog HDL can be a pain because it is programming and there's a lot of syntax to learn. Reading the slides and doing practice questions/exams are your best bet.
Seems like a chill guy but not the best at explaining concept and teaching. Doesn't really help you prepare for the exams, but he does in-person quizzes during lecture time so you kinda have to go to class.
Stay on top of the material, and do the pre-labs properly as well as some of the labs before the actual lab session. They take a lot of time and are not do-able purely in the lab session. They do help with understanding the class content so do them properly.
