For most people, this will be their first coding class so it's not going to be easy. However, if you spend a decent amount of time outside of class studying, you can get a good grade.

Most people gave this professor a bad rating because they believe he is too harsh. From my experience, he wasn't that bad. He is a little old school so he makes you print and hand in your code for the homeworks. He doesn't use blackboard and only returns the exams and assignment in-person. The best way to get his help is in-person, not through email. He will be willing to help and explain any problems you may be having during the course. He also gave a packet full of practice problems and a couple of sample exams which I think were very helpful.

Be prepared to study and put in work after class hours. Take advantage of the learning center and go for tutoring if you are having a hard time. It helps a lot.
