Good course in terms of material but kinda poorly managed. He goes over material really fast and if no one asks questions he kinda just talks about random stuff. He goes into a deeper level of certain things if you push him their with your questions and can be quite insightful. Unfortunately, if you pay close attention you notice he sometimes likes a deeper foundation in some areas.
Continuous off 1430 but dives into pointers, inheritance, polymorphism, and data structures in back end. The material from course should leave you at a really good point if you understand the bigger picture.
Currently only one that teaches it. Unorganized at times and lectures can be too trivial at times unless you push him for deeper examples or with additional questions. A lot if his lectures seem to be on the spot based on topics he goes off his list.
Would finish using "starting out with C++" textbook instead of zybooks. That book takes you though binary trees where the course leaves off on. Half of it is 1430 the other half is 1440. Start early on projects as sometimes you need 2-3 days to finish. You can manage on most days but better to air on side of caution. If you can recreate projects from scratch then practicums are easy. If not you might struggle.
