Comments on the course

For an introduction class it does its job.

Course Content

The class goes over basic logical statements (inductive and deductive), the fallacies one can commit in them, some philosophical views of how we learn and grow, and a couple discussion articles.

Comments on the professor

A bit plain and boring, but obviously cares about the subject. I would think that he isn't the most exciting because of the fact he's in an undergrad introduction to critical thinking class.

Advice

Pick up an older version of the textbook. It's dirt cheap and logic hasn't significantly changed in the last century, so it'll be fine.
